ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT
REAL ESTATE TRAINING
Q.
What's included in Lingle's
new agent training?
A. We have two programs
we run concurrently
during your initial
training – our LRE 12
Training Sessions on
the practical application
of selling real estate
plus our First 30 Day
Action Plan to help
upstart your real estate
career.
We also provide continuous
training in weekly sales
meetings and additional
classes we hold periodically.
We also offer weekly
coaching sessions with
experienced sales managers
and monthly communication
meetings to follow up
on your progress.
Q.
What set’s Lingle’s
training apart?
A. Frankly, it is the
most comprehensive and
continuous program available.
We go far beyond just
text book training and
do practical application
training with new agents
– such as:
- Developing your
sphere of influence
- Preparing an annual
Business Plan
- How to prospect
for clients
- Developing good
time management skills
- Negotiating contracts
- New home construction
- How to prepare for
Open Houses &
Floor duty
- And much more…
Q.
How does Lingle’s training
supplement the formal
course an agent must
take before taking their
state licensing test?
A. The pre-licensing
course required focuses
on the legal part of
becoming a real estate
agent. This course covers
the terminology and
vocabulary used in real
estate. It teaches the
math, contract law,
and Indiana licensing
law needed for real
estate.
However it does not
teach you prospecting
techniques, selling
skills, negotiating
skills, and professionalism…….that
is what we teach you
once you become affiliated
with LRE.
Q.
Where does Lingle Real
Estate recommend new
agents take their real
estate courses?
A. The easiest and the
most convenient for
local residents would
be the 9- week course
offered at I.U. East
periodically through
out the year. There
is also a 4-week accelerated
course, and a 2-week
super accelerated course
offered in Indianapolis
on an almost continuous
basis. The 9-week course
offered at I.U. East
meets on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings for
7:00 – 10;00 PM and
it currently costs $395
for the course. The
2-week and 4-week are
currently $445.*
